Charger was driving too fast. End of story. I was in a similar type of accident years ago. A car suddenly stopped in the middle of the highway and I hit them (nobody was hurt). I was told that it was my fault because I wasn’t maintaining a speed that could easily be stopped. I accepted responsibility because I was the one who hit the car in front of me. Part of responsible driving is maintaining a speed that can be readily controlled in an emergency.
