@versabusiness: 🚨🌊 DUMB SENIOR WEEKERS (who weren't dumb seniors after all) OF THE WEEK - PART 2 🌊🚨 Well… It turns out I owe some people an apology. 😂🤦‍♂️ This morning I stopped by Beach Patrol to get an update on the kids floating out in the ocean on that pool raft yesterday. The bad news? ❌ I was wrong. They were NOT Senior Weekers. 😂 The good news? ✅ They were Ocean City Beach Patrol lifeguards. Which explains why nobody was sprinting into the ocean to save them. Apparently these guys bought the raft at Walmart in Berlin, hopped in the water downtown, and floated ALL THE WAY TO FENWICK. 🌊😳 And from what I was told… They had an absolute blast. 😂 For those wondering why nobody seemed concerned, Ocean City Beach Patrol puts their guards through some of the toughest training anywhere. These are elite swimmers who spend all summer keeping the rest of us safe. So instead of this being a story about dumb tourists… It’s actually a story about highly trained lifeguards having a little fun on their day off. 🤣 Huge shoutout to the Ocean City Beach Patrol for everything they do to keep our beaches safe while the rest of us enjoy the beautiful town we call home. ❤️🏖️ And yes… I’ve been wrong once or twice before.
