The Best Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪 #cookies #chocolatechipcookies Bakery-style Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies with crisp edges, soft chewy centers, and perfectly balanced sweetness ✨ RECIPE (90–100 g each) Ingredients 310 g (about 2½ cups + 1–2 tbsp) all-purpose flour 200 g (14 tbsp / about ¾ cup + 2 tbsp) unsalted butter, soft 150 g (¾ cup) white granulated sugar 3 g (½ tsp) fine salt 2 g (about ½ tsp, slightly scant) baking soda 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk (≈ 80–85 g) 150 g chocolate total: 100 g (3.5 oz) dark chocolate 70% 50 g (2 oz) chocolate 54% For filling 150g (½ cup) Salted caramel Method Filling Portion caramel into 12 pieces (≈12 g each). Roll into balls and freeze for 45–60 minutes until firm. Dough Cream butter and sugar until smooth and cohesive. Add egg, yolk, and vanilla; mix just until combined. In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, and baking soda. Combine wet and dry ingredients; fold in chocolate. Chill dough 30 minutes. Portion into 90–100 g (about 3.1 oz) balls. Flatten slightly, place frozen caramel in the center. Seal completely, rolling gently into a ball. Chill shaped cookies at least 1 hour Optional: press a few chocolate pieces on top before baking. Bake at 190°C / 375°F (static) or 180°C / 355°F (fan) for 13-14 minutes. Rest on the tray 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack.
