Mine was sooo good. Waking up covered in warm blankets eating some cheezits. Only needed Tylenol/ibuprofen for the next 24 hours

Haha! It’s a completely different experience in the Netherlands. You’re allowed to take ibuprofen at home; you’re fully awake, and the only painkillers you’re given are a minimal dose of morphine via a drip to take the ‘edge’ off the pain, but you can still feel everything.

sure, retrieval day is easy, but everything before and after sucks 😅 I had the worst bloating for 8 days after.

Girl 🤣 In the Netherlands they only give you morphine and two paracetamol, and then they just get started. And trust me, the medication doesn’t really take the pain away, you still feel everything, it just processes a bit slower because of the drugs. I’ve got my third puncture next week, and none of it is fun 🤣.

In my country you get the medicine you get before you walk into the procedure room and then some pain medicine once you are in the room. You are awake the entire time.

Pcos girlie here who just had hers yesterday, and I’m still struggling to move around my house 😅 we are a lot better than yesterday, but once those nice anesthesia drugs wore off, the bloating/gas pain/fluid shifts kicked in SO HARD that walking to the bathroom was a struggle. Not to mention the constipation. Still on a q4 Tylenol/ibuprofen schedule and doubtful I can move at my nursing job tmrw, but to those with an easy experience - love that for you, truly 💕
