When does it start to become obvious that protesting is disastrously ineffective against the horrific crimes happening in our country? How many times can we just post a sticker chain, or hit repost, and feel burnt out after just witnessing the echoes of past crimes crystalize into reality and somehow this feels just as "alarming" as when blood budgets were being inflated underneath the cover of bills with glitzy acronyms and tepid media coverage. Isn't it clear that we all need to organize, learn, and mobilize to meet this with the full power that we wish we could extend to the Jews? How about the Native Americans, or of course Black People, who JUST RECENTLY had their voting power demolished across the south? The Nazis and Confederates we're not defeated, they were simply pushed with meager punishment back to the protection of their coffers filled with the blood of Africa, and the Americas! They stood by, biting their bigoted tongues through while they accumulated capital, and connections, and positions of power, of influence? They didn't just start happening again. THEY WERE ALWAYS THERE. Say what you will about Socialists and Communists, but they have ALWAYS been the most antifascist elements in history. And are you really going to listen to these very same people abusing innocent families, friends, and neighbors? You don't have to pick up a dusty book full of obscure words to learn what the key lessons are! There have always been people doing the work, and you just have to do a YouTube search and there's a flourishing community right there, happy to accept you into figuring out just what the fuck has been going on. Please if you have read to the end of this I know you at the very least want something better, even if you don't know what it is. Maybe give the socialists and Communists at least a little time in your scrolling to just see what you think. A better world IS POSSIBLE!
