Www.lauralucy.co.uk £250 for 1 hour £150 for 30 mins £50 for referal form and letter Totally optional for@Those that want that extra support and guidance Lauralucy1972@Gmail.com for collabs and media / press For two full years of my recovery, I have spent around 40 hours a week, often working until 2am, trying to help other people facing cancer. I have answered countless emails, messages, phone calls and comments across all my social media platforms. Around 90% of everything I have done has been completely free. I am one person. And, actually, expecting me to continue doing that indefinitely is unrealistic. It became too much. Everything I have done has come from a place of good intention. I have deliberately shared valuable, informative and useful content — the sort of information I desperately wish I could have found when I was first diagnosed and searching for options. More recently, I introduced a very limited number of optional paid consultations because people were repeatedly asking for individual, case-specific time and support. Nobody has to book one. I only started offering them because of demand, and I deliberately limit the number because there is only so much of myself I can give while still having a life of my own. What I do find incredibly disappointing is seeing people lie about me, misrepresent what I do and put me down so dreadfully, while knowing that I am also living with stage 4 cancer, half a functioning liver, poor kidney function, anaemia and hypothyroidism, alongside a late diagnosis of autism and ADHD and often very little sleep. Perhaps instead of putting so much energy into telling me that I should be ashamed for putting a value on my time — which is the most precious thing I have — some people might reflect on the way they have chosen to treat someone who has spent two years trying to help others. I know what my intentions have been, and I know how many people I have helped. I am very comfortable with that. And strangely, I now feel a huge sense of relief. I no longer need to feel glued to my phone or responsible for answering everybody. I can step back and be present — concentrating on yoga, cooking, research, reading, my children and grandchildren, my parents, my dogs, my home and garden, and my friends. So, to the women who have done this Danielle ans Tracey Dawn Watkinson you have actually done me a favour. I have always believed things happen for a reason. Perhaps this was the reminder I needed that my own time, health and life deserve protecting too. 🤍🤍#fyp #tace #vogl #stage4cancer #remission
