Imagine the feeling the fans of Iraq, Uzbekistan, DR Congo, Haiti, Curaçao, etc… all get from seeing their team play in a World Cup. To get the opportunity to showcase and represent their nation. It’s honestly beautiful when the smaller countries get to partake. Grow up tom

If they only take teams that are “gonna do something significant” it would be like an 8 team tournament. It’s a World Cup for a reason, the more countries competing the better in my opinion. There are a lot of people from those smaller countries who would love to watch their country play at the World Cup
