I'm certainly no expert, so maybe there's a reason not to, but with all of the dirt that gets pushed out of the back and trapped underneath, would it not make your job a little quicker and easier to have a small platform that's mostly holes with enough support to hold the rug up, so when you spray it from the top, the dirt doesn't get trapped underneath?
