@livinglondonhistory: Just by Tower Bridge is a spot that most people miss… Horselydown Old Stairs are some of the last surviving sets of old river stairs that would have once lined this stretch of the river. Nobody misses this , every tiktok about London mentions it and says the same thing about it being hidden or secret . It used to be a nice place to sit on the steps and have a coffee for ten mins,now it's a packed Instagram spot.

I work near here, if you want some food or drink with a perfect view and less crowds than on the other side of Tower Bridge, you need to continue down that road and there’s another left turn further down. There’s a metal plaque on the pavement as a guide on when to turn - follow the path round and there’s loads of lovely places to sit and enjoy the view :)

on a different Note if you don't want to use the crowded tourist Toilets of the Tower (Bridge) use them in that Starbucks at the corner. They are quite nice for public ones 😂😭
