@403sphere: my husband was working late that night, so i was sitting inside waiting for him to come home. i remember looking out toward the pool every few minutes, expecting to see his car pull into the driveway. everything felt completely normal until i noticed someone standing outside. at first i thought it was him, but something felt wrong almost immediately. the figure wasn't moving, wasn't coming toward the house, and wasn't doing anything except staring in my direction. i froze and reached for my phone to call my husband. i looked down for maybe a second. when i looked back up, the figure was gone. my husband didn't get home for another hour. to this day, i still don't know who was standing outside that night... but i know it wasn't him.
