I struggled with this and Gods timing is always perfect. I was raised catholic, didn’t believe while I was catholic, had the Holy Spirit come into me 2 years ago, went back to the Catholic Church because it was what was familiar, then just 2 weeks ago I started looking for a more Christian church. Ultimately i know the church is within me but I am growing in faith and learning. Thank you Lord for believing in me and for everything you’ve done for me. As catholic, I’ve always wondered about the addition of praying to Mary… I moved to a different location recently and my spirit seems to feel weird about the Catholic Church’s in my location… but I’ve also been feeling uneasy about not going to church. (I follow an online church which I love, isn’t catholic but I feel the online aspect isn’t enough)…. I would really appreciate some genuine opinions 🙏 thanks in advance!

That may be how it looks to others, but I believe God sees straight into our hearts. He knows we honor Mary only because of her place in His plan, not as a replacement for Him. We never ask her to save us, only to pray for us, just as we ask other faithful people to pray. God values our true intentions more than outward appearances, and He knows our devotion always leads back to His Son, Jesus.
