Kenya needs clear and fair Manufacturing-as-a-Service regulations to prevent large manufacturers and their associate from unfairly competing with and weakening the smaller businesses they serve. (btw this is happening big time) There must be clear , fair regulations to support this service.

This is the reality of things. Many start ups closed because of access to raw materials. You have to secure your source of raw materials. I do contract manufacturing and absorbing the headache for raw materials and machinery for my clients so that they focus with marketing and the brand.
