Going through this exact thing, Contractions, dilated to a 1, cervical length at a 2.4 and 50% effaced. 33 weeks 3 days. Hoping he holds on a couple more weeks

My last baby was measuring just at 6lbs at 35 weeks. She was born at 36 weeks and I was measuring about a week to two weeks ahead and she was 9lbs 3oz. This baby I haven’t had a growth scan yet but I’m 32w3d and measuring right at 33 weeks.

I’m having contractions at 33 weeks and my girl is measuring 6lbs but I’m not dilating yet. My first was via c section at 37 weeks. Congrats on your healthy delivery!

My baby was measuring right under 6 pounds at 30 weeks and I was 1cm and 60% effaced, I’m now 33 weeks and 4 days and he’s still measuring super big (99th percentile) and my cervix is still the same .. this is my 6th baby. My other I went through similar situation all except they were never measuring big but I made it to 37-38 weeks with all of them .

so i delivered my surro baby on May 23rd...4 days before at my dr appt they estimated her at 8lbs 3oz...when born, she was 8lbs 4oz. and at exactly 39 weeks. she came 3 days before my induction lol!

30 weeks baby weighs 4.1 currently. with my first she was 6.5 at 34 week scan and I delivered at 38 weeks she was 6.11

I had my 32 week growth scan this week and he’s measuring 4.5lbs! But I will be going to be induced at 38(if he doesn’t come on his own before that and after 37) because of hypertension 💙

Contractions- 😭 Dilated a fingertip at 31 weeks, very soft cervix. Baby has to stay put. However with meds, the contractions have slowed. No further dilation. But did receive the steroid shots for baby’s lungs!

Please do research on the steroid shot… if you or baby don’t really need it, don’t get it. My girl was born at 35w 5 d and she was perfectly fine! I hope your baby stays in there a little longer
