It is a perfect game. I play once a year on my GameCube version. There is nothing that can compare. And like every Skyrim fan I was like ughh just another remake. Until I saw that trailer, and yea I cried, they're doing what they always wanted. It deserves every ounce of love it deserves

As someone who was gaming on the N64 back in 1997, and bought every gaming magazine on the stand, i can tell you the hype around OOT and its reception upon release was legitimate. And younger gamers these days cannot grasp that feeling, that emotion, the same way. And the game itself for someone at that age, at a time when open worlds and long story narratives weren't a thing yet, it imprinted something very unique on us. I am not surprised at all at the emotional response to this announcement and I am certainly one of them.

I am NOT looking forward to beneath he well in this remake 🤣 that shit scared the piss out of me as a kid and made me nope the fuck out of OOT and return it to blockbuster, never touching a Zelda game again until I finally randomly played Windwaker on my Wii years later when I was an older teen.

W Take. I was one of those kids that grew up playing ALTTP on the SNES. We spent hours on it and fell in love with it. Then OOT came out and I’ll never forget how we talked about how amazing it was compared to anything else out there. Countless playthroughs with him that I’ll always cherish and it shaped how I thought about what was possible when you apply yourself to anything you’re passionate about. Love the content man keep it up!

Oot already has a pretty much perfect remake though on the 3ds. We really don’t need another remake especially not in a hyper realistic style that doesn’t fit zelda at all.

sir can I explain something to you I played this game on 3DS, I've been waiting for a native Port of this game. I was around for the 64 era never got a 64. you pretty much have every Zelda game in existence on the switch except one Twilight princess, so the question remains when are they going to release Twilight princess on the switch. I've been around since Zelda came out, my first experience with the series beyond the very first game was Twilight princess. so all due respect, when is that one coming? love the video
