@Ayekoosmith :
Dear Pastor, I truly honor you for your longevity in preaching the Word. While I agree with your assertion that men of God should not be worshipped, it is important to recognize that when someone expresses a blessing from touching you, it often stems from a place of honor. Many view a man of God as an intercessor, someone who bridges the gap between humanity and the divine. Remember how God sent Moses to Egypt, assuring him of His presence. Trust in your relationship with God is crucial; men of God may not be God Himself, but they are empowered to decree and declare His will. As Jesus told His disciples, they would be able to do even greater works than He did, as noted in John 14:12.
Pastor Mensa Otabil, I share your concerns regarding some recent teachings. If a man of God seeks to elevate himself above God, he risks isolation. However, God has indeed granted authority to His servants to represent Him on earth. I pray for your long life, for in the days to come, you will witness a new generation of prophets being prepared by God for greater assignments. We must avoid sounding envious of those pastors who have been entrusted with divine power. While you seek to guide other leaders, we must remember that God is the Creator of all flesh, as stated in Jeremiah 32:27. What we perceive as contrary to His will may indeed be part of His divine plan, which is why we should refrain from judgment.
