The days that we do little to no screen time, my 3 year old is a different human! She’s way more outgoing and her pretend play is amazing with no tv!!!!

I need the tips! Every morning she’s asking for tv now. It’s horrible but we also only do it about an hr a day so I can get work done on my computer. She does play well on her own but my 1 year old pulls her toys. How do I help with that?

Completely agree!! We’ve done this with my daughter and she plays so well independently now. Now if we have a family movie night it’s such a special treat to her!

Doing this with my 3 year old!! I have a four week old and have been turning on too much tv for my daughter and have been feeling so guilty bc I've seen her get so short tempered and I know it's from the tv

I wish cutting screen time helped my 3.5 year old play more by herself - it in fact did not & seems like she’ll never play on her own 🥲 but screen free definitely helps behavior a bit!
