@icha:it will be hard but she will get there im sure. she isnt reacting harshly or saying things like i hate you. i live in Muslim country (Indonesia) and lots of families have lgbt children; usually its a bit hard in the beginning but eventually they reconcile. of course it varies on how long it takes and what reconciliation looks like. but because there is no immediate violence i think this guy has quiet a good chance. i'm praying for you guys from far away 🥰 actually my fam is also Muslim, and one of my cousin is gay (and wearing make up etc) during eid. of course this is the BEST case scenario, another friend of mine works in a different city and comes back only during holidays but they maintain regular communication. please steady your heart as much as you can; things CAN and WILL change for the better but we have to be extremely patient. i know this is not a clear cut solution but i hope my story warms your heart a lil bit 🥰
