Don’t melt the beads on the tray that’s how you melt the tray. It’s literally in the instructions not to do that. Put masking tape over the beads then take the tray off

Go one row bigger than you need to for your desired cup. Then make copy that extra row, but only in a huge open O. Glue or melt that to the whole thing. Now it stays on better and wont create gaps if your straw moves

Get the little silicone rings that go around lids and hot glue them on the bottoms so you have a way to keep them on!!
