@drdavidabbasi: Most people don't even know this technology exists. 😳 Vein finders use near-infrared light to map the veins beneath your skin in real time — making bloodwork faster, less painful, and way more accurate. No more digging around for a vein. This is what modern medicine looks like. ✅Follow @drdavidabbasi for More Daily Medical Content & Health Tips!🌴😷Schedule a consultation in Delray Beach! That’s WAY more detailed a vein finder than any I have seen.

this was a lifesaver when I was admitted to hospital with a bad infection, the IV antibiotics kept blowing veins and they were running out of places they could find and had to go deeper and in odd places. I had been stuck a million times it felt like and everyone was struggling till the iv team came with this!

Everyone that’s complaining has never been poked so many times that they get nauseous because they can’t get your vain. Of course they teach you how to get the veins, but this is for patients who are severely dehydrated, or have small veins. Like me.

I think you guys are assuming they’ll use this on every single patient. More likely they’ll use it on severely dehydrated people/ people they just can’t find a vein on and have already poked a few times.

Firmly believe technology like this has no business existing. It “makes it easier” yes but this is something that shouldn’t be “made easy” this is a skill every nurse should have under any circumstances without help.

guys it’s okay to use technology to, A. create better expirences for patients and B. make it easier for the healthcare workers. just because they are using technology does not mean they are incapable of doing it without the machine😭
