@jaisenz3: Most brake jobs end when the pads are installed. Mine don’t. Quick release of the trapped air behind the piston boot helps prevent the boot from staying stretched or twisted. It’s a small detail, but details are what separate parts changers from technicians. 🔧 #shoplife #cartok #satisfying #autorepair #mechanic
Been doing brake jobs for 30+ years and never had to do this

As a professional automotive technician of 30 years, I can confirm that this is 100% correct.
To everyone speaking to the bleeders, this does not have anything to do with the hydraulic side of the piston. It's just an air bubble in the boot. You release the pressure so you don't pinch the boots when reinstalling.
There is a right way to do the job and there is a professional way to do the job. This is professional, as in someone is paying to get the job done correctly. Anyone can just say send it in their driveway, but could you imagine paying someone to just say send it?
Anyway, well done sir. It's nice seeing people that take the time to do a job the right way.
