@aloechari2: i think paper 2 was better than paper 1 anyways but now i have to lock in for sociology tomorrow so the excitement is over 😿 #alevels #maths #study #edexcelmath #exams

For the coal reliability I said the model was for the 1700 to 1900 years and 2000 is out of the data

For the parametric one I got a cubic too but you know the line and the curve intersect at x = 1 so (x-1) is a factor so you compare coefficients or do long division but my final answer was wrong I think but that’s my method

I’m really confused why everyone keeps saying for the binomial question the modulus of x is less than a half - if we used -1x for the binomials wouldn’t it just be modulus of x less than 1 ?!!?!! Ugh

Factor theorem
Arithmetic series (part c was a bit dodge)
Parametric differentiation and coordinates with trig functions (sin and cos)
Implicit differentiation (twice back to back, the second one was y = 6^-3x which stumped a lot of ppl, but was only worth 2 marks and the part b 2 marks, so not too bad)
Circles
Vectors, but unusually they didn’t ask for a magnitude or a vector to be found, but straight away asked for a angle
Log modelling
Exponential modelling
Trig modelling (not the harmonic identity, but similar to a past paper about the harbour, when I mean similar copied word for word, but with different values)
First principles
Integration by u substitution
Trapezium rule
And finally the niche thing I was happy about
- Binomial expansion WITH Partial fractions
