Yeah these data center investors are shooting for the stars, trying to make a bigger one than the next guy. Sad part is that some people are not paying attention to the fine print. Power generation facilities usually spec a 30+ year contract….and these customers of the data centers are looking at 3-5year contracts. Leaving the tax/rate payers holding the bag. In addition whatever method of power generation used they all consume water, so not only do the data centers use water to dissipate heat but the power facilities use water to convert heat into energy…..it’s circular and wasteful!🤔 Come to think of it….wonder if we could make some type of perpetual motion thing out of this🤣😢

They had to sneak one in my hometown by lying to us that they were putting off 2 golf courses with Mike Trout& Tiger Woods, and they sold one and put a data center up there

Shane, do you have an idea of how many of these data centers are going into each state? It seems like every time I turn around I’m hearing of yet another one. And it just leaves me thinking how much data could we possibly process that would warrant thousands and thousands of acres of data centers…?
