Back in 2022 my husband was walking into Walmart and right in front of the entrance doors he slipped and fell. It was snowing and icy that day. He went and told the customer service desk that the need to salt out there. His back started to hurt really bad. He made a drs appt. Long story short he ended up needing back surgery. A cage and screws. To this day he still has pain and has to do PT and get pain shots. We called Sam Bernstein and they tried to help us, but there’s some sort of law in Michigan that wouldn’t allow our lawsuit to go anywhere. It’s so frustrating how big businesses our exempt from things.

The fact that they knew the parking lot was in disrepair and didn’t do anything about it. It was a lawsuit waiting to happen so they should be responsible for just knowing and not taking care of what they should have. There has to be some sort of duty of care. Good luck wish you the best.

Can I sue if someone didn’t diagnose me for an eye condition that if caught early wouldn’t have let my vision get so bad in one eye before finally getting diagnosed and receiving the surgery?
