The amount of people who use the term shadow work and have no idea wtf they are talking about is wild. When you try to integrate your “shadow” and you are ATTEMPTING to find a balance in all of the broken shameful things and all the positive beautiful things is really really fucking hard. It makes you question so many things. It forces you to evolve. In all aspects. When someone say I’ve done. Or I’m doing my shadow work. Ask them how and what they are doing. Ask them to explain what shadow work is. I have found that this has become a massive buzzword in spiritual circles or personal growth circles. I feel like this is become the new term that fills in a gap the same way narcissist does when someone doesn’t behave the way you want them too. Welp I’m making a video now lol

To the person who commented, I have been practicing for nearly 40 yrs. YOU'RE NEVER FINISHED SHADOW WORK! You are never finished learning! even after 40 yrs I'm still learning new things. The moment you think you know it all or have mastered everything and begin to make others feel less than or inferior, you have lost the meaning and the reason behind this practice and you should start that shadow work again. There is no finish line, there is only exponential growth. It does not matter if you are new to this or you've been in this your entire life, you're exactly where you need to be. This practice is a journey enjoy it and don't listen to anyone who has the audacity to make you feel bad about any aspect of your journey, they are wayward and wrong! Blessed Be from this Crone! 🥰

After all the years I've practiced (decades) I know this with absolute certainty.... EVERYONE brings something to the table. Honestly, I have learned more from my children than anyone else in my life. Our work is NEVER done. We should ALWAYS be evolving and integrating. Wisdom is knowing that learning and teaching exist in the same scope. In all things, balance. In. All. Things. 🖤
