@hilda.manyo.dickson: A woman once told me something I will never forget… never stop building. She had a very good job, the kind many people would dream of. Then she got married and resigned to join her husband. At the time, it probably felt right. Life was moving. Love was present. The future looked clear. But things became tough for both of them. She kept pushing and trying to hold things together. Eventually, she got a job before her husband did and supported him through that season. Then life changed again. Her husband got a job. And instead of things getting lighter, he began micromanaging her, making cutting remarks and using words, even scripture, in ways that wounded more than they helped. It was painful. She told me those experiences changed how she saw him. The respect shifted. The safety shifted. Even the marriage felt strained. But beyond that, she started losing herself. It took a lot for her to find her footing again. A lot of mindset work. A lot of rebuilding. Eventually, she got back on her feet. And when we spoke, one thing she said stayed with me: Never stop building. Keep working on yourself. And keep your knees close to the ground in prayer. Because no woman should depend so completely on another human being that she loses her own balance. That story stayed with me because many women are told to relax once life feels settled. But life can change. And when it does, capacity matters. So dear woman, keep building. Your skills. Your confidence. Your income. Your mind. Your options. Not because marriage is bad. Not because love is not beautiful. But because balance is wisdom. What are you still building for yourself, no matter how stable life looks right now? #fyp #financetiktok #moneytips #dearwoman #financetok

This reminds me of a woman I know who had five daughters and a son, yet she was constantly blamed and mistreated because she couldn’t give her husband another son. Watching what she went through taught me that every woman needs to keep building herself, her confidence, and her support system. Life can be so unfair sometimes. 💔
