I’m glad he had a good experience with getting the lidocaine because I when through it back in the early 80’s I it was so painful getting the injections and then it worse after I got home and the lidocaine started wearing off! I’ve had 2 hernia surgeries and they were a walk in the park compared to having my ingrown toenail removed! I have an ingrown toenail on my other foot but I’ll just keep cutting the edge of the nail off before I go through that pain again!

It’s just the initial stick of the needle that is uncomfortable in that area. After that it’s all good.

I had to get 7 shots because my toe wasn’t completely numb, it really did not hurt that bad I promise. I got it done last week and it feels like a paper cut or a small poke
