I have a 17 month age gap between my boy and girl plus a husband that is extremely busy with residency: number 1 tip to get through solo parenting days is to wear 👏 your 👏 baby! Whether it’s for her naps, for taking your oldest to the park, for grocery runs etc. The wildbird carrier is my most used baby item with baby #2! And 2 under 2 challenged me in ways I never saw coming but once you learn the art of multitasking two babies (bc you’re so right that your oldest is still very much a baby!!) then things become smoother. Also once baby #2 is on a consistent nap schedule and your day becomes more predictable, you will notice it getting more manageable. And lastly you just have to take it a day at a time. My second is 10 months now and the way they play together just melts my heart and makes it ALL worth it 🥹 also had a VBAC with my second and the number one thing I did was just read/listen to Surah Maryam everyday and make sincere dua 🤲🏼

Going to 2 is way easier than going to 1. I had an elective cesarean in 2019 due to size. then had a perfect birth via vbac in 2024 and he was 10.5. I know there are certain risks when your c section was within a certain time frame so do all your research, trust your body, ask Allah for the best plan for the healthiest mama and baby. I talked to Allah all day and night. I loved my birth team at banner ocotillo.

2 under 2, 14 months apart both boys but both very very different in every single way possible- get lots of help initially it’s definitely not easy in the early days then do things as a family like outings, when you can make time for yourself only you- whether it’s working out or grabbing a coffee just helps you keep that sense of self- I didn’t do this for like 10 months I was not seperated even for a second with my second son and looking back I’m like girl chill you can leave him for a bit lol. Definitely take your vitamins and make sure your iron levels are good- I became completely depleted of everything due to bfeeding so wish I stayed on top of that. Honestly they are best friends and inseparable best decision I made having them close. Now they are 4 and ones turning 3 soon and it’s such a fun age! All the best inshallah

I don’t have two but my daughter is 2 and what I will say is that the difference between them being 1/1.5 and 2 is vastly different and who your son will be when you have your second is not who he is now. The next couple of months he will grow SO much. He won’t feel like a baby anymore by the time you give birth. May Allah make it easy on you!

I am pregnant with my 5th baby Alhamdullilah but with a 8-9 year gap difference! But my first 4 were each about 2 years apart and honestly I loved it! So I’m kinda nervous for this one… I need tips girl. I feel like it’s my first all over again 🙈🫶🏻
