Why pay it? unless it's a pay to delete agreement, the collection stays on your credit the same as if you didn't pay it. Wait the 7 years and either way and keep your money.

I had a collections bill for 179 for a medical bill and I guess as long as it’s under 500$ in my state at least it cannot go on your credit report so they can get lost I’m not paying 😭

I had two medical bills go to collections one worked with me and settled for 60% the other said nope we can do a payment plan at no interest, because they wouldn’t work with me I now pay them the minimum amount every month $25 😂 they won’t get the full amount for 5+ years
