As I had understood before, Al Mahdi will not come after Isr#$| had ady fallen, but rather come as the leader of the army (which comes from the far east as said) to fight Isr#$| until they're defeated. Because the Muslim army fights many times but is not successful, until they appoint Al Mahdi as the leader. The Muslim finally win that the Isr#$| soldiers hide behind the trees as we all know this story. Only after this ultimate win, the army and Al Mahdi hear the news on Daj|&'s arrival with the 70k followers. They'll retreat somehow and only then, the prophet Isa A.S will come out and kill the false Me$$i&h. That's when Isa A.S will perform the solah as the makmum of Al Mahdi.
