I've tried it. It kinda works, but needs to be configured endlessly. Firefox + UBlock Origin is the best for ad blocking.

tried it, instead of ads I'd get a black screen for the duration of the ad. also completely broke Hulu. I think it was registering that the ad wasn't playing so it would try another one in an endless loop so it would never start any videos.

to an extent, if you use an app like the YouTube app, they push the ads the same way the videos come through. so pinhole can't differentiate the difference between videos and ads

Many host ads on same server, like Youtube, and cant see different on video or ads by pihole. Brave browser block ads other way for YT.
