Claire had to leave Sherry with Leon in order to continue looking for Chris, right so she definitely would be in contact with him to check on Sherry. I don’t think Leon would tell Claire about what the government did so that she wouldn’t worry or even stop her search for her brother, so Claire wouldn’t know that Leon is in training to become a government agent who would be able to provide some intel on Chris, so there it makes more sense for Claire to contact Jill imho

I really am happy we are getting a Claire game. I also really want a Jill centered game next if possible. I would love more games of them both. Like I love Leon and Chris but I am getting a lil tired of seeing them constantly and no one else. 😅

I would love a new game with Rebecca and Jill, possibly with a similar premise for Veronica where they are looking for Chris that could then end with them getting involved with the US government and getting a call from Claire saying she found Chris

i think it’s interesting how chris tells jill to let claire know he’s okay in the note in 2r so i was hoping that claire could’ve actually contacted jill after they all escape RC 😔

You’re absolutely right at the time CV was coming after we already saw Jill again in RE3, so checking in with Leon made more sense for the audience. But now people want to retroactively change it because of who we’ve seen more recently in the modern games.

Jill has been so unutilized in the later games, note RE3 was my first ever introduction to the franchise so im a bit biased with her being my fav 😁

cause of it mostly being in the lesser known games and spread out between games I think Leon being at stratcom should be shown more and have more said in it cause Leon does alot while he's there between training sending ark Thompson to investigate Sheena island (resident evil survivor) linking Chris to Claire also operation Javier but also Claire might not of known Jill

I would be really disappointed if Leon properly shows up like I love Leon but if they make him show up I would be pissed the whole time because it’s just overuse for money. I agree having Jill as a safe house would be awesome

Not actually something I want in the game itself, but more of an idea for you Kaylee for a skit about Claire calling Leon during REV: Claire: "Hey Leon, How are you and Sherry doing?" L: "Ohh you know, being a single mother and father to our daughters since you ABANDONED US!" C: "I did not. I... wait daughters? There's only Sherry, and she is Not OUR daughter!" L: "See! You don't know anything about this family anymore. I was pregnant and I birthed our younger daughter while you were gone! I named her Grace." C: "WTF!!?"

As much as I’d like Jill to replace Leon here I’m pretty sure by the time CV starts, Jill has ALREADY FOUND Chris, since she was also looking for him. Her plan was to meet him in Europe after RC, and I think they were hunting Umbrella down together when Leon contacted Chris. Chris was probably ok to leave his mission since Jill could handle it, or something idk. It’s my reasoning for why Jill is also set up to be the protag of CV but is next chronologically seen in 2003.

I have NO problem with Leon having a 5 minute cutscene passing Claire’s message to Chris. It doesn’t need to be a big production.

Also does Claire have contact with Jill after RE2? Like Jill and Carlos don’t run into Claire at least as far as the games show. I believe she’d like to contact Jill but would she currently have a way to do so?
