FRIDAY FORM: 3 Most Common Moves You Love on The Mega but Need to be modified on the Micro  I LOVE the Micro!  I’ve been using mine almost everyday since March 2020 (I had the prototype model originally!), Sebastien and I led all the original workshops for the Micro back in 2020 and early 2021. Having said that the Micro was NEVER supposed to replace the Mega. This means not every move you love on the Mega can be done on the Micro, but we did replicate certain moves to keep you safe and prevent breaking the machine. So let’s take a look at the top 3 moves you love on the Mega and how to do a safe version of them on the Micro…  🚫You CAN’T do Super Lunge on the Micro. It’s just a hard NO. ✅DO stay on the floor and do a stationary row with the pulley cable instead. Much safer and much more effective! 🚫DON’T press against the handlebars for Spider Kicks!  They are on a pin release mechanism and this can cause them to break and could cause injury.  ✅DO keep the movement the same but press the heel against the platform instead!  Much safer for the machine and you plus it feels better for most people’s hip flexors 🙌 🚫You CAN’T do a Mega Donkey Kick on the Micro. Most people physically can’t fit on the tiny carriage to be able to maintain the proper form and again we don’t press from the handlebar.  ✅DO a Micro Donkey Kick instead on the floor!  That’s the beauty of the Micro. Use the floor to expand your library of moves. You face the front with your working foot against the back of the carriage. I might like this better than the Mega version 😉 Hope this helps clear up any confusion out there!
