We live in a country where peer-reviewed economic studies like those from the National Bureau of Economic Research consistently prove that identical resumes with "Black sounding" names receive 50% fewer callbacks than those with "white sounding" names. We live in a macroeconomic structure where modern banking algorithms routinely deny Black applicants for conventional mortgages at significantly higher rates than white applicants with the exact same credit scores and income brackets. We operate in a society where medical apartheid ensures Black women are three times more likely to die in childbirth, regardless of their education or wealth. Legal equality is a mirage when the institutions enforcing those laws are fundamentally designed for white wealth consolidation and Black containment. For a Black person in America to willfully ignore the empirical data, the sociologists, and the macroeconomic reality of their own people just to score points with a white conservative audience is PATHETIC!
