@leni.3431: I searched on my phone for the nearest DMV from my current location and it took me to the grocery store MEIJER. I went inside, following the location on the map. I was standing in the Customer service department of the grocery store. A lady came walking over because no one was behind the desk and she said I’ll be right there to help you, I interjected with “I followed a map to a DMV location so I could renew my license and license plate sticker and it brought me here.” I was so confused at first. She pointed to this little yellow kiosk and said it’s all automated! So watch my journey here and see if this service is offered in your state. It literally took a minute. There was a $4.95 fee, but it was worth it not to have to take one of those paper numbers and sit for an hour at the other place. If you need to renew your sticker on your car, this is a great and quick service, I would highly recommend it. However, it will not renew your driver license, I didn’t expect it too, a little part of me was hoping that maybe it would do that, lol, but in our neck of the woods here you have to go to two separate places to do these things anyway.
