I still can't believe Julius came from being the smug annoying worst guy ever to literally the best character of this show just by showing who he is and now I can't even be mad at him for the first time he showed up he was 100% correct

Endometriosis can affect far more than your period. When we talk about endometriosis, the conversation often centres around pelvic pain, heavy periods and fertility. But research is increasingly showing that women with endometriosis also have higher rates of a number of other conditions. Depression and anxiety are more common. There also appears to be a higher prevalence of disordered eating, ADHD, migraine and PMDD, alongside other commonly reported comorbidities such as IBS, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, urinary symptoms and TMJ disorders. That does NOT mean every woman with endometriosis will experience these conditions, and it does not necessarily mean endometriosis is causing them. What it does tell us is that endometriosis often exists within a much bigger clinical picture. Chronic pain, inflammation, altered immune signalling, hormonal changes, nervous system stress, sleep disruption and the enormous psychological burden of living with a chronic condition can all intersect. This is why when I work with someone with endometriosis, I don’t want to know only how painful their period is. I want to know about their mood. Their energy. Their digestion. Their headaches. Their sleep. Their nervous system. Their menstrual cycle. Their relationship with food. And everything else that may be contributing to the overall symptom burden. Sometimes symptoms that seem completely unrelated start to make much more sense when we look at the whole person. If you have endometriosis and feel like you have a long list of seemingly disconnected symptoms, this is exactly the kind of complex picture I work with in clinic. You can book a free discovery call with Mel at Nourishing Apothecary to discuss your case and whether we may be able to help. Australia wide consultations are available via Zoom. nourishingapothecary.com #endometriosis #endometriosisawareness #endometriosisresearch #womenshealth
