your first mistake was thinking that the “authentic american experience” has one look. our states are like different countries all with their own individual cultures. trader joe’s for me is part of the american experience. i think a lot of foreigners think that all of america is like texas. there is no singular way that america looks or is like. we’re a melting pot of different cultures
