One of my clients came to me and asked for an at home program— and that’s no problem— I do believe you can get effective workouts in at home— so I asked her what her goals were? her goal was movement, to move her body, to feel comfortable doing workouts in general— and I think that it is so important to recognize sometimes that people’s goals or experiences are not always going to be the same— I definitely preach progressive overload and lifting weights to build muscle and how important strength is, but in the same breath everyone’s goals at that moment might not be weights. Movement is medicine and I think it’s important to meet my clients where they are at— we will definitely get to the gym and the lifting, but for now she’s comfortable in her home and that’s what works for her. I also stress how important nutrition is— you can do all the core workouts in the world but if you don’t focus on nutrition at least most of the time that might be a unattainable goal— unless you have crazy genetics 😩 if you’re wanting to start Q4 locking in, let’s chat— 1:1 in my bio🤍 #explorepage✨ #corecore #guthealth #coreworkoutsforwomen #athomeworkouts
