@𝐋 𝐄 𝐌 𝐘 𝐀: Please read this!🫶🏽 In a small village in Palestine, where the hills rolled like soft waves and the air smelled of warm earth and jasmine, lived two little kids named Sami and Lina. Every afternoon after school they ran down the dusty path toward their favorite place in the whole world, an old olive tree that stood alone on a hilltop. The tree was ancient, so old that said it had seen a thousand sunsets and twice as many wishes. Its branches twisted like dancing arms and its leaves shimmered silver green in the sunlight. One golden afternoon, as the breeze hummed through the branches, Lina noticed something unusual. “Sami… look!” she whispered. Tucked between the roots was a tiny wooden box carved with swirling patterns and tiny stars. They exchanged wide-eyed glances and gently opened it. Inside were small slips of paper, each one a wish written by children from long ago: “I wish my brother would return home safely.” “I wish to always have bread to share.” “I wish for laughter to fill our house.” “I wish for peace.” Sami read them slowly, feeling each word settle quietly into his heart. Then he looked at Lina. “Do you think we’re allowed to add our wishes too?” Lina nodded eagerly and tore a page from her notebook. She wrote her wish in careful letters: “I wish everyone feel safe and play outside whenever they want.” Sami added his own: “I wish every kid here could be happy.” They folded their wishes and placed them gently inside the box. When they closed it something magical happened. The wind picked up and swirled around the tree like a soft embrace, carrying the scent of olives and wild thyme. The leaves rustled as if the tree was whispering back, promising to guard the wishes with all its ancient strength. Sami and Lina sat beneath the tree until the sky turned pink and gold. They watched the village lights twinkle below like tiny fireflies and felt for a moment as if the whole world was holding its breath just to listen. As they walked home hand in hand, Lina looked back at the hill. “Do you think the wishes will come true?” she asked. Sami smiled, hopeful. “One day,” he said. “Olive trees never forget.”( pls copy and send it!)
