i looked at my medicaid requirements it says 80 hours a month of work or volunteering or make equivalent to 80 hours at federal minimum wage???

individuals are required to work but businesses are not required to hire. people will be lost in that gap. how can people be required to work jobs that are not available?

I have Multiple Sclerosis, IBD, IBS, EOE, endometriosis, asthma, HEDS and my ability to work varies. I usually only work 18 hours a week cause that's all I can handle.

Does Turners Syndrome and Celiac Disease count because I’m significantly short because of Turner’s syndrome and I’m gluten free because of celiac disease so I can’t work with certain foods if in a food related job and I can’t reach certain things or get to places quickly in a emergency

This might be stupid but if someone starts their own “business” and works for themselves could they “work” the required hours?? Or could I start a business for others and pay them a low amount for the required hours so they can keep their medical. I’m just thinking that there has to be some sort of loophole. Idk though I haven’t read up on this myself.
