𖥻 ׁ ׅ nikita 🎼 ! ׁ ⎊ :

️sam :

my handwriting is pretty messy so my sevens look like this

⋆｡˚꒰ঌ 𝓵𝓪𝓵𝓪𝓵𝓪𝓷𝓭 ໒꒱˚｡⋆ :

I still write them like that 😭

Sarah :

I did that and now I can’t not write them like that

Z⭐🎧🎸 (Dr house's version) :

my handwriting is shit so I do this so I can distinguish my 1's from my 7's, I do the same thing with my z's

𖥔*･｡ﾟ✧kris.stars𖤐 ִֶָﾟ｡･*.ﾟ☆ :

I made a choice in second grade and I stuck to it

Emma <3 :

bro my parents taught me like that, theyre from cali

St@rGazer :

I started writing them that way because I couldn’t tell the difference between the way I wrote 1 and 7

dleela :

Nobody could tell the difference between my 1's & 7's and 2's & z's in algebra. Now I'm too far gone

Sai 🕉️🕷️ :

That’s just how my parents taught me…

Angelina Kocharyan :

Nearly 15 years later and i sill write my 7 with a line through it

ms.5wiftie :

I guess I’m a pick me as a teacher too (I do feel so elite when my students start copying my 7s and Zs)

themidnighttiger :

my 1s and 7s were indistinguishable. so are zs and 2s. the lines indicate that its a 7 and z lol

andreadelangel77 :

How I write mine to this day

Regan :

My German teacher in high school insisted we wrote 7s and Zs with lines through them and it kinda just stuck idk what his deal was tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

GGracii :

I just did that bc it was easier for me to understand it like that

cheekyrash :

I still write my 7s like this 😭

Makayla 🍒 :

i remember doing this and now i can't undo it.

donate to my gofundme!! :

I write my 7s like that because my mom does. Same with Zs

▀▄ xXC0neHe4dUr0sXx ▀▄ :

the only reason why I write them like that is cuz my handwriting is shit and I need to differentiate my sevens from my ones

Cece :

I wrote my 7s like that because I got a math degree in college and kept confusing 7 with > if I wrote too fast

Lasagna :

Wait y’all I haven’t picked up a pen in so long that I forgot what the number seven was

C :

My mom wrote them like that so I started writing them like that too
