I was very sick as a kid. Spent a lot of time in hospitals. In 6th grade they thought I had cancer. Right before I went to hospital Salems Lot (my favorite book of all time) was released on vhs (you could rent for free from library then) and stupid me watched it. The scene with Danny in his bed and Ralphly Glick floating and scratching at the window scared the HELL out of me. Fast forward 24 hours. They decided to do a spinal tap and when they do you cannot move for 8 hours. I was alone in my hospital room facing a floor length window alone …. As it got dark…. (Still remember all of that to this day)
