@jocelyne_makes_it: Here’s how I keep track of my rows/decreases! I use a method very similar to @julesknitthis - I just went a step further and put my stitch markers on my chain row counter so I REALLY cannot forget to decrease 😅 if you can’t tell I LOVE the chain row counter, it makes it almost impossible to lose track! #knitting #knittok
The chain row counter makes knitting sleeves a breeze!!!

New knitter (5years crochet), only making a Sophie scarf this far: I use a stitch counter website for each row then a pre-numbered bubble check off list in my notes app for each repeat. So I just have to hit a button for both and it’s easy! For crochet I’ve used paper tally systems and my notes app lol

How does the row counter work when you decrease every 15 rows?

I do something similar. Red is always my BOR. So the first red is just the original row (in this pattern, I have to do a thing on that row, if it was an increase or decrease, I’d also mark it and I keep all of the extra pins pinned to the latest increase pin, but this is a different kind of thing that doesn’t really need marking) and then I have to just follow the previous stitches for the next 5 rounds…so red = 1, orange = 2, yellow = 3 and so on. Red for my BOR always, then ROYGBV as many times as needed. You can see my little ouija pointer pin…it’s a row counter but I use it for like…section repeats instead of individual rows bc it brings my slightly witchy brain joy to use it, but changing it every round/row is too much 😂

Thank you! I bought a crap ton of those row counter chains and haven’t broken them out cuz I wasn’t sure how I could use it and it be more helpful than annoying but this is an excellent idea! Really super helpful!

So smart! I love my chain row counter but I never thought of adding markers for each decrease that needs to be done. A great idea
