@careers.with.oprah: scheduled a doctor's appointment recently. not to be rude, i was fully delivering — getting my tasks done, hitting deadlines, and making sure my work was covered while i was out. just trying to take care of my basic health. i checked my inbox… and my manager sent me THIS email. that’s the part that’s getting me. like it wasn’t just a quick “hey, let's make sure we have coverage while you're at the doctor” — it turned into a whole unhinged rant asking if i was "dying" and literally telling me to reschedule my health to "next quarter" or just resign. when i auto applied through sprout it never said going to a medical professional meant i should just quit my job… whatever. i get that daytime absences can require schedule adjustments. i get that the team needs coverage. but does it really need to escalate to telling me to "feel free to resign" just because i need to see a doctor? it’s weird how taking care of my physical health turns into a massive “concern” about my consistency. i’m doing my job. i showed up. i contributed. idk… feels less about collaboration and more about control. should i go back to sprout? #fyp #movingon #manager #career #job
