I live in a condo. Normal EV’s not convenient. A 5 min charge EV starts to change that. Hybrid is still best option in my opinion.

With BYD, they will install 1 megawatt fast chargers. The USA will never get these. Because they don't have the engineering, the components to make megawatt chargers. The show stopper is a EV that can accept megawatt charge. This require the most advanced LFP design, charge electronics, cooling, etc. The USA make no LFP battery, certainty none that can be put into a car charge at 1 MW.

I would imagine that's not very good for your battery, I would worry about it overheating or Catching Fire charging at that pace. I don't have technical know how so maybe I'm wrong but it sounds worrisome to me
