That street needs help for sure. There are businesses but it’s not a walkable street. Little to no trees, horrible road conditions, no dedicated bike lane, those crazy speed bumps, leasing is too high. It’s just ugly.

Thank you for your very thoughtful content. This area has always had the potential to be one of the coolest parts of Los Angeles but for some reason it starts to get renovated and then it falls by the wayside and it’s overrun with graffiti and garbage. It has so much potential.

Fairfax has quite a bit of foot traffic with the new Genghis Cohen opened, Canters and others on that stretch but I think it will be some time before it comes back full swing
