Water conforms to the curvature of the earth, therefore the shoreline is not "lower" than the water level. Level does not mean flat.

my number 1 question with this flat earth stuff is why would they lie about the shape of our landscape? like what does it matter if we know its flat vs thinking its a globe? thats where I get stuck. it seems like such a stupid thing to lie about.
