I don’t know my mort is 1100 a month. That’s with insurance rolled in escrow. 3.25 fixed I would rather pay for something to own. 2k is what rent is now.

Purchase home in 2003, mortgage is $800. 2026 new mortgage/rent looks around$3k-$6k. Owning is a better option

Thanks for sharing this, so many people don’t talk about this. It’s not what you think it is especially if you’re single. You’re responsible for EVERYTHING! Taxes, repairs..etc. that sounds so stressful.

I never had a good experience renting. Parking issues, filthy neighbors that brought bed bugs..You just never know what you're getting into. & rents are ridiculously overpriced.😭 I'll keep my house. But I bought within my means so it works for me.
