As a San Franciscan born and bred, you do not need AC. You’d be better off with heating, which most places also don’t have.

lol I’ve lived in SF for 13 years and none of my apartments had air conditioning. And honestly you only need air conditioning for 1 week out of the year! If you want AC you have to live in the new condos in SOMA and you know what’s worse when you live there - no rent control 🙈

Good news: you really don’t need AC in SF at least 99% of the time. Bad news: $7,000 for this place is nuts, but I trust someone will pay it. I live in the East Bay, Lamorinda area. My place is only 2 bed 1 bath, but also has a yard, a garage, is in an extremely walkable area, and it seems I should never leave because my rent is $3,200.
