@garyvee: I’m completely convinced that accountability is the most significant path to happiness. When you hold yourself accountable, it leads to solutions; it helps you maintain a position of control instead of being a victim. It excites me to know that nobody else is in control of my shit ... except me. If I created the issue, then I have the power to fix it. If I didn’t create the issue and it’s bigger than me or purely circumstantial, I can still decide how I absorb it. Whatever is bothering you right now, take a step back, be grateful for what is going well, and realize what you can and can’t control. If you can’t control something, let it go and focus on what you can control, which is how much and how often you deploy gratitude in your life. It’s not just about having gratitude – you have to show it.
