The merging car isn’t even entering the highway. That was a lane closing that they knew about for probably half a mile. They’ve been left lane camping until they got kicked out of the left lane

if you can't get up to merge speed DONT merge onto the highway. i'm not trying to get smushed between you merging at 45 mph and the semi barreling down the right lane at 70mph.
